A man was stabbed in the neck during a music festival near the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Saturday night, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The Once Upon A Time in LA music festival was taking place at Exposition Park Saturday night, and headliners included 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg and YG, but the performances ended after the stabbing, the festival announced shortly after 10 p.m.
The Los Angeles Times reported that authorities did not confirm the identity of the victim but that a person with direct knowledge of the incident told the publication that it was Drakeo the Ruler (real name Darrell Caldwell).

Today (December 19) TMZ reported that multiple sources said Drakeo had died after succumbing to his injuries. It’s claimed that he got into an altercation backstage.
The concert was held at Banc of California Stadium in Exposition Park in Los Angeles, where hip-hop artists such as Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, The Game, 50 Cent and YG had been scheduled to perform.
Caldwell, 28, was acquitted of a murder charge in 2019 from a 2016 incident in Carson, California that left a 24-year old man dead. He was also acquitted of five attempted murder charges and conspiracy to commit murder.
