Japanese President Shinzo Abe’s Shot Video has been leaked. Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has died after being shot during a campaign speech in Nara, Japan. Abe was rushed to hospital but efforts to save him failed and he died due to blood loss, doctors told reporters Friday evening.

The 67-year-old Japanese leader was shot twice and collapsed on a street in Nara city as several security guards ran towards him, and showed television footage.

Japan Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno said Abe was shot at around 11.30 am (local time). Earlier in the day, Abe was taken to a hospital bleeding as he collapsed after the attack while delivering a speech, local media reported.

Prime Minister Fumio Kishida condemned the shooting in the western city of Nara in the “strongest terms” while Japanese people and world leaders expressed shock at the assassination attempt in a country in which political violence is rare and guns are tightly controlled.

The yen rose as far as 135.33 per dollar after news that Abe had been taken to hospital after collapsing while delivering a speech in the western city of Nara, after gunshot-like sounds, according to reports by public broadcaster NHK.

The police arrested the man suspected of killing Abe, who was giving a campaign speech in front of Yamato Saidaiji Station when the attack took place at around 11:30 a.m.

Videos of the incident showed two shots being fired. Japan is known for having one of the strictest gun control laws in the world.
