‘Toddlers & Tiaras’ Star Kailia Posey Died By Suicide, Family Says In Heartbreaking Statement. Posey’s mother, Marcy Posey Gatterman, said that her daughter died aged 16 in a Facebook post shared on Monday night (2 May).
The outlet confirmed the news Tuesday and shared a statement from the 16-year-old’s heartbroken family. On Monday, it was reported that Posey, who turned 16 last month, had been found dead in a car at a Birch Bay State Park, in Washington state.

Kylia, who was trained by her mother to be an ouster, was 5 years old when she appeared in an episode of the 2012 Toddlers & Tiaras that documented the California Tropic Arizona competition. She rose to fame after seeing a smiling face during an interview on the TLC reality series which became a viral meme online.
