Radio Host Mike Trivisonno Dies at 74- What happened With Him

Longtime Cleveland radio host Mike Travisno died Thursday afternoon. He was 74.

Trivisonno, who often went by the nickname “Triv,” was the WTAM 1100’s afternoon radio host.

Trivisno started his radio career as a caller on WSAM’s Pete Franklin show. He was called “Mr No It All.”

WTAM eventually recruited him as a sports talk personality with a passion for baseball, a game he trained. He became known as Doctor Baseball for WTAM programs like “Tribe Insider”.

He quickly moved on to discussions on local and national issues, highlighting controversial arguments with individuals including Cleveland NAACP President George Forbes and Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson.

“He was more than the person who went and turned on the microphone and made you laugh because he was also the person who would teach you about life,” Said Trivisno’s colleague, Ratto.
