In a tragic incident on Monday, 2019 Miss Kerala winner, Ansi Kabir as well as runner-up Anjana Shazan died in a car accident that took place at Vitila near Kochi, according to PTI report.

The incident took place around 1pm last night when the duo lost control of the vehicle to avoid being hit by a motorcyclist. Police said two other passengers in the car were injured in the incident.

The car hit a bike and then hit a roadside tree. Kabir, a resident of Alamkod in Thiruvananthapuram, met with the accident while visiting Shazan’s house in Thrissur after attending a function in Kochi last night.
Many followers of Ansi Kabir said that just hours before the tragic accident, she posted a video on her Instagram account with the caption “It’s time to go. Many have expressed surprise at the irony.
