Wausau, Wisconsin’s morning news anchor Neena Pacholke died on Saturday, August 27, 2022, on an ABC-affiliated TV station. WAOW Report – Despite his young age, Pacholke managed a successful basketball career and transitioned to TV journalism.
She grew up in Tampa, Florida, and played competitive basketball for 10 years. According to the Florida Bulls University website, Neena June Pacholke, who was born on June 29, 1995, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, was 27 years old when she died.
The cause of her death is not yet known to the public. Pacholke’s parents are Laurie and Aaron. She also has one sister, Caitlin. Neena, Kaitlynn, and her mother, Laurie, were all competitive basketball players at various times.
Kaitlynn is just over 2 years older than her sister, who turns 29 this year. She was born in Nina, Wisconsin, played softball at the University of Valparaiso, played basketball at Jacksonville State Santa Fe University, and played basketball for the Newberry Wolves.
Pacholke is a popular anchor at WAOW. After graduating from the University of South Florida, she first joined television in 2017 as a multimedia reporter.
