Sonny Barger

Motorcyclist Sonny Barger from California, best known for founding the Hells Angels, has died of cancer. At the age of eighty-three, Ralph “Sonny” Barger, a founding member of the Hell’s Angels motorcycle club, has died. A farewell message, which the biker and writer had prepared before his death, was published on his Facebook profile.

The biker, from California, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife Zorana and his loved ones on June 29. A statement on his Facebook page read: “If you read this post, you will know that I am gone. I requested that this note be posted immediately after my death.

The one who brought these colors to Italy of the Hells told us about the Italian Biker scene, how it was and how it is changing, not without bitter words. And he remembers his encounters with the one that the Hells Angels Club founded: Sonny Barger.

Ralph Hubert Barger Jr., known as Sonny, is the founder of the Club: at the age of 19 he created the first Chapter in Oakland in 1957. The Hells Angels are known for their long history of violence and crime, and Barger did not deny that. He wrote several books in which he talks about the crime within the club.

He himself has been detained several times for offenses involving drugs and weapons, among other things. In 1988, he was sentenced to five years in prison for conspiring to kill five members of a rival club and blow up their clubhouse.

Barger revealed in his autobiography that he was inspired by the 1953 film “The Wild One,” starring Marlon Brando to found the group that celebrated its 65th anniversary in April.

The family will announce plans for sonny burger’s funeral. The information regarding the death of the deceased will be released only if appropriate by the relatives and close friends of the deceased. We’ll try to update you about them.
