Former Australian cricket star Andrew Symonds has died in a car crash. Police released a statement saying they were investigating a fatal single-vehicle accident last night in Harvey range, about 50 km from Townsville.
Several Australian media outlets reported the death of a 46-year-old man in a car crash near his Townsville home in Queensland state on Sunday.
Australian newspapers reported the accident occurred Saturday night local time and quoted a statement from the family confirming his death.
