Former Australia all-rounder Andrew Symonds died in a brutal car crash on Saturday. The news has come as a shock to the entire cricketing community as this is the third death of an international Australian cricketer in the last 3 months. Earlier, the world was shocked by the deaths of Shane Warne and Rod Marsh a few months ago.
Police said the accident took place on Saturday night at Harvey range, 50 km from Townsville. According to a police statement, the car Symonds was driving had left the road and described it as a single-vehicle incident.

Paramedics reached the spot but could not revive the former Australian fan favorite, the only person in the car.
Symonds is now survived by his wife Laura and young children Chloe and Billy. Symonds’ old friend and spin wizard, Shane Warne sadly left the world after he died of heart failure a few months ago at the age of 52.
