Everyman has an aim in life. A fixed aim helps a man to shine in life. I am a student. I am doing my best to acquire knowledge. I have an aim of my own. It is to do some useful to help the poor and suffering people of our country.
Different persons have different tastes and ambitions. Some want to be scholars, some want to be poets and some other may like to earn fame. Some want to be engineer or doctor etc. There is a proverb that a man without an aim is like a snip without a rudder. A rudderless ship drifts on at the mercy of the wind and waves. Even if it does not sink, it cannot proceed properly.
Similarly an aimless man cannot attain success in life. Like most people I have an aim in life. I am a young learner now. Considering the merits and demerits of all professions have decided to be a doctor in future. After passing the S.S.C and H.S.C examination with credit I shall get myself admitted into a medical college for the M.B.B.S degree. There are many reasons for my selecting this profession. The profession of a doctor is no doubt noble. It is surelya humanitarian career. More than eighty percent people of our country live in the villages. They live in poverty, hunger and suffer from diseases. There are quacks, but no qualified doctors to look after their health.
They die for want of prope medical aid. Qnalified doctors are also unwilling to live and work in villages. But when I shall be an M.B.B.S.I shall go to my village and will serve the villagers. There I shall open a chamber and I shall treat the poor free and they will bless me. I sha take money only from the rich. It will be a good service to both the poor and the rich patients. 1500 In this way, I can help the people to some extent and can remove the miseries of the common people. I want to help my countrymen. May God fulfil my aim and help me serve my country and people up to my own satisfaction.
